Retail/Entertainment:
37,000sf American Multi-Cinema 10-plex movie theater, Burbank, California,
1986. As Managing General Partner of Burbank Multi-Cinema, Victor Georgino
directed design, entitlement processing, leasing, financing, and
construction. Development included zoning entitlement, public and private
financing, Disposition and Development Agreement processing, and
construction of public parking facilities.
25,000sf American Muli-Cinema 4-plex expansion, 15,000sf retail/restaurant
development, Burbank, California, 1992. As Managing General Partner of
Burbank Multi-Cinema, Victor Georgino directed design, entitlement
processing, leasing, financing, and construction. Development included
zoning entitlements, public and private financing, (Mello-Roos public
financing) Disposition and Development Agreement processing, and
construction of a 496 space public parking structure. Key retail tenants
included: Islands Restaurant, Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream and Market City
Caffe.

Century Theatre 10-plex movie theater and 16,000sf retail/restaurant
complex, Downtown Ventura, California, October, 1998. As Owner-Manager of
Ventura Multi-Cinema, LLC, Victor Georgino directed design, entitlement
processing, leasing, financing, and construction of a downtown movie
theater and adjacent retail/restaurant development. Development included
zoning entitlements, design review process, public and private financing.
Developer also negotiated and implemented a Disposition and Development
Agreement in excess of 15 million, and constructed a 505-space public
parking structure. Key retail tenants included: Ben and Jerry’s Ice
Cream, Quizno’s Classic Subs, Kelly’s Coffee and Fudge, California
Federal Bank. Ventura Multi-Cinema represented the first major development
in Downtown Ventura in a decade and required the support of downtown
merchants, City design-review, historical preservation, San Buenaventura
Mission and City officials.
Community Service:
Spearheaded the Kiwanis Club of Burbank fundraising and project
development for first Burbank Habitat for Humanity project, 1998-99. As a
twenty-two year member and past president of Burbank Kiwanis Club, Mr.
Georgino directed the efforts of the Burbank Kiwanis Club in a major
development campaign that resulted in the development of eight (8)
for-sale affordable condominiums. Mr. Georgino represented Habitat in its
successful negotiations with the City of Burbank and secured the City’s
contribution of the necessary land, relocation of the existing tenants,
and entitlement processing. Through the efforts of the Kiwanis Club of
Burbank, over $125,000 in direct revenue and in-kind services were raised.
Mr. Georgino served as a Director of the Burbank Housing Corporation and
Honorary Board member of Providence St Joseph’s Medical Center. In
addition, he served as Chair of the Notre Dame High School, Sherman Oaks,
Board of Directors. In his capacity as Chair of the Board, he is directed
the development of a new $5 million technology and arts facility.
Public-Private Projects:
As previously stated, Georgino Development has extensive experience in
working within cooperative public-private partnerships. City officials and
the city councils in the communities, within which he works recognize
Victor Georgino as an honest, hardworking, patient developer who easily
accommodates the public participation process.
